1. Acceptance

By using HomeTone ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HomeTone is a family organisation app providing shared tasks, shopping lists, calendar, messaging, AI assistance, and 30+ family management modules. The App is designed for household use by families and groups.

The person who creates a HomeTone family account is the "Family Admin" and is responsible for:

HomeTone may be used by children as part of a family account set up by a parent or guardian. The Family Admin (parent/guardian) is responsible for supervising children's use of the App and consents to these Terms on behalf of minors in the household.

6. AI Assistant

HomeTone includes an AI assistant feature. AI responses are for general assistance only and may not always be accurate. Do not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

7. Data Ownership

You own your family data. We act as a data processor. You may export or delete your data at any time through the App or by contacting us.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses due to downtime or data sync delays.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deskio's total liability is limited to subscription fees paid in the 12 months prior to any claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may delete your family account at any time. Upon deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We will notify you of significant changes via the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
